The Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician (Electrician) to join our Aftersales team in Singapore.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the diagnosis, repair, and troubleshooting the electrical systems in road transport equipment such as road tankers, refuse collection vehicles, or waste equipment. This role ensures that repairs are completed safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, troubleshoot electrical systems in vehicles / equipment
• Support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and policies
• Provide assistance to customers, and fellow technicians when required
• Able to perform or undertake mechanical repairs as well to support repairs necessary for customer’s equipment
• Communicate well and truthfully
• Diligent, takes initiative, and willing to work extra hours to resolve customer needs
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in vehicle and/or equipment maintenance
• Ability to follow repair processes and guideline
• Basic computer knowledge (advantageous)

✅ Qualifications

• Technical Certificate or Diploma (Mechanical or related field)
• Welding certification (advantageous)
• Singapore Class 3 driving license
• Singapore Class 4 driving license (advantageous)

• Strong practical skills with hand tools
• Ability to operate a forklift (advantageous)
• Safety-conscious with a high attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required
